1. Is there an upcoming submission deadline?

There is no deadline for submission for any issue. IJSAA accepts submissions all year long without a deadline. Articles will be published online in the upcoming issue.

2. Should my research paper list my mentor/teacher as an author?

It is not required to list a supervisor, teacher, or mentor as an author on your paper, however, researchers may include them as necessary.

4. What are the fees for submission or publication?

We do not have any charge for submission of manuscript. The Article Publishing Charge for this journal is: $150 USD. APC fee waiver available for select accepted manuscripts, please apply during manuscript application submission.

5. What type of articles can be submitted?

IJSAA accepts original research, review and mini-review articles. See author guidelines for additional details.

6. How should I cite my work?

All citations should be done in ACS format. Papers cited in other formats will not be considered for publication. Authors must use chronological numbers for in-text citation to reference the number that corresponds with the work cited in your “References” section. All students are responsible for properly citing their work. Please utilize the following resources to help correctly cite your work:ACS Style Guide.

7. Do you publish literature reviews?

Yes, we do publish literature reviews. Please follow our guidelines regarding expectations for a review or mini-review article under author guidelines.

8. What is the policy about AI?

While research about artificial intelligence (AI) as a subject is welcome, the use of AI tools to generate content, text, or data for article submissions is strictly prohibited. All submissions are checked with AI detection software prior to acceptance. If AI-generated content is found during or after publication, the article will be retracted without refund to the APC.

9. How long does it take to publish?

The average time for acceptance may take 2-4 months on average, depending largely on the quality of the submission, responsiveness of the reviewers, and authors' response time for requested changes and editing. Once the article is accepted and paid for, authors will receive a certificate of acceptance for their publication. After acceptance, it may take additional up to 1 month to get published.
